Happy Fall! The children will be very excited to participate in our Fall Festivals this year. Every class will rotate through stations, visiting the Petting Zoo, taking a hayride, choosing a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, and enjoying a story and snack. The Festivals go on all day, Wednesday, October 11th and Thursday, October 12th. The Pre-K & 3’s M/W classes will go on Wednesday from 10:20-11:20 a.m. and again from 12:45-1:45 p.m. The 4’s & 3’s T/TH classes will go on Thursday from 10:20-11:20 a.m. and again from 12:45-1:45 p.m. The PDO classes will attend on Wednesday and Thursday from 11:45-12:45. If your PDO child does not attend on Wednesday or Thursday, they may still join in on the fun! You will receive a separate email with information on when you may bring your child. Thank you, in advance, to our Parent Volunteers for making these days possible.
We know there are occasions (birthday party invites, etc.) when parents would like a class roster. If a need arises throughout the year, feel free to visit the front desk for a copy.
Please visit our Little Library, located across from Ms. Stacy’s office! Simply borrow a book and bring it back when you’re finished. We are fortunate to earn free books through your Scholastic book orders and will continually update the books in the Little Library with seasonal new books!
Like last year, we have a large number of children enrolled this year. Therefore, we are organizing our Pumpkin Decorating with Dad Night in shifts. In order to make this night enjoyable for all, we will use the following schedule:
Pumpkin Decorating with “Dad” – Thursday, October 26 – 6:00-8:00 p.m.
6:00-7:00 p.m. – All morning preschoolers and T/TH PDO children are welcome to attend.
7:00-8:00 p.m. – All afternoon preschoolers and M/W PDO children are welcome to attend.
*In the event of siblings, Dads (or special person) may choose which time they attend. The new schedule will hopefully free up seats and table space for children and Dads to decorate their pumpkins, in the classroom. Dads and their little ones may then move on to the Social Hall for snacks and games! More details on Pumpkin Decorating with Dad Night will be forthcoming.
